The first class consists of seven rules of Incoterms 2010, which can be applied regardless of the chosen mode of transport and its quantity. This class includes: EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP and DDP.
In the second class of rules Incoterms 2010 delivery point and a place to which the transport of goods to the buyer, are the ports, so this class has a name "for the maritime and inland waterway transport." This includes - FAS, FOB, CFR and CIF.
Number of Incoterms rules is reduced from 13 to 11. This was achieved by introducing two new rules that could apply regardless of the agreed mode of transport - DAT (delivery at the terminal) and DAP (delivery place) - Incoterms 2000 rules instead of the DAF, DES, DEQ and DDU.
